This stuffed animal is close to me because it was one of the first ones I ever had. I am not really to sure how I was able to keep this for around eight years but I did. I know for a fact that this is a monkey but I don't know which type it actually is. I never really took the time to figure it out, so I just went with it. This was by far the most difficult picture to take. The monkey itself is way bigger than every other object. My problem was that my paper structure was wide but it wasn't tall. I had to get a couple more pieces of paper and tape them to the top. Even after putting more paper on top it still wasn't what I wanted. I was running out of time because I had to go somewhere so I just worked with what I had. I managed to take pictures from a lower angle and they turned out pretty good.
I chose this as one of my objects because this is really special to me. About five or six years ago I was in boy scouts. Every year they have a pinewood derby race. I was in boy scouts the year before but I never made a car. I made probably the most generic looking car, but I thought it was very cool. I brought it to the race at my elementary school a couple days later. My friend had almost the exact same looking car as me. I never thought I would win, but surprisingly I got first place. I was so happy that I won because my expectations were not very high. A couple weeks later I got my first prize trophy, I have kept the car and trophy ever since then. The car is a block of pinewood shaved down with four black tires. On the other side of it is metal so that the car has some weight on it. I took the pictures at an angle where you could see the whole car. It was pretty easy to take these pictures because the car isn't very big.
In fourth grade my family and I went to Washington D.C. for a family trip. We saw the White House and the Washington Monument. At the White House they were handing out these globes as souvenirs. I didn't really buy anything else like this while I was there so this is my memory of the trip. This globe was the easiest thing for me to take a photo of. It is really small, and it doesn't take up to much space. The paper platform and structure I made didn't come apart while I took this picture. Every other object took down my structure so I was happy this didn't.
I don't really care to much about this, but I did win it so I included it in. In my elementary school they gave awards to people with great behavior. The teachers would pick like three kids per class to go on stage and get their best behavior award. The people who got the award got to get some sort of prize. In my opinion the prizes given were mediocre. The only thing that was some what cool looking was a storm trooper bobble head from Star Wars. I quickly snagged it and made my way back to my seat. This was sort of difficult to photograph. There are not many good angles of this and the head moved a lot. This would lead me to attempt to stop it and destroy my paper structure. After a couple tries I held completely still and was able to take the pictures.
Im not going to lie, this is my brother's trophy. I never really got into piano like my brother did. He was in a competition for some test and he ended up getting gold with some other people. I thought it looked really cool at the time so I tried to keep it in my room. He would also take it back without me knowing. Now he doesn't care for it as much because it is pretty old. I knew as soon as I was assigned to take photos of objects to take some of this. It was a little difficult to take pictures because it is very skinny so I kept scratching myself. There were only a few good angles of the trophy, this took me sometime to figure out. Finally I was able to get some good pictures without messing up.
